Naiya’s journey began on February 1, 2023, when she welcomed JoJo into the world. Little did she know that the first year of her son’s life would be a tumultuous odyssey of health challenges. Just seventeen days after giving birth, Naiya’s life took a drastic turn.

On February 18, 2023, at 2 a.m., Naiya experienced severe dizziness and nausea. Concerned, her mother wasted no time and called for an ambulance. Despite feeling no chest pain, the situation was critical. Naiya’s blood pressure, already a concern since her pregnancy, had triggered a heart attack.

A Rare Diagnosis: Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection

Under the guidance of Dr. Chirag Patel and the interventional cardiology team, Naiya was diagnosed with a rare condition: Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. Her artery walls were spontaneously tearing, obstructing blood flow to her heart.
