New Jersey Lawmakers Propose Package to Bolster Reproductive Rights
Officials said that a new package of bills introduced by state lawmakers looks to advance New Jersey’s position as a haven for reproductive autonomy.
The package, championed by the esteemed Senate Majority Leader Teresa Ruiz, is a testament to her dedication to safeguarding reproductive freedom, expanding access to essential reproductive healthcare services, and bolstering provider and patient protections. The bills, which include provisions to address out-of-pocket costs for abortion services, are a reflection of her leadership, officials said in a press release.
