Zaire Franklin, a Dynamic Linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts, is Gearing up for an Electrifying Season off the Field with “Shelice’s Angels.”

Zaire Franklin dedicated his time before the Indianapolis Colts training camp, positively impacting his community. As he enters his seventh season with the Colts, he remains committed to serving on and off the field.

Through his work with Shelice’s Angels, Zaire provided 450 full school uniforms to the students at Kenderton Middle School in Philadelphia, aiming to empower them to excel in the classroom. He is a leader both on and off the field.

Shelice”s Angels Business Academy, Zaire Franklin

“Shelice’s Angels,” named after Zaire’s mother, was organized in 2019 to help young women see the many opportunities available outside their current environments. Zaire stated, “Our foundation strives to open doors and provide resources that will help youth build self-esteem while providing positive reinforcement.”

Zaire was raised by two strong women, his mother Shelice and his grandmother, who instilled a strong belief in giving, academics, and an acute “can do” mindset. He is using the inspiration from his mother and grandmother (who have both passed away) to pass these qualities to young women while giving them a head start in life.

Shelice’s Angels has been hard at work inspiring young women and empowering the Philadelphia community by giving them the tools necessary to reach their full potential. Our flagship programs, the Shelice’s Angels Business Academy and Day in the Life, demonstrate this.

The goal of Shelice’s Angels is to inspire and unleash the potential of the communities it serves. Zaire expressed, “We aim to not only educate our stakeholders on how to thrive within their community but also to broaden their perspective beyond their immediate surroundings.”

Since its establishment,”Shelice’s Angels” has made a significant impact on the lives of numerous young women through various programs that promote careers in technology, community engagement, and academic success.

On June 20th and 21st, Shelice’s Angels held the 4th Annual Business Academy at Lasalle College High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thirty Conwell and Kenderton Middle School studentsness simulation competition. The team that made the most profit won some amazing prizes from our participation in a start-up business sponsor, Toys R Us.

There were three guess panelist who gave the students some gems on how to be successful in the business world. They also walked them through their journey on how they got to where they are in their career.

The last day of the business academy ended with some dodgeball and basketball with Zaire and the Shelice’s Angels team.
