AACCNJ Announces Sen. Benjie Wimberly as Keynote Speaker for 2026 Educators of Color Symposium
(Princeton, NJ – June 4, 2026) – The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ), in partnership with the Administrators Network, proudly announces that Senator Benjie Wimberly will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Educators of Color Symposium taking place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Princeton Conference Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
The annual symposium brings together educators, school administrators, higher education leaders, policymakers, community advocates, and aspiring educators from across New Jersey to engage in meaningful dialogue focused on equity, representation, leadership development, and strengthening pathways for educators of color.
Senator Wimberly was elected in January 2025 through the Passaic County Democratic Committee to serve as Senator for New Jersey’s Legislative District 35. He made history as the first African American to serve in the New Jersey Senate representing Passaic County.
Widely respected for his decades of service in education, athletics, youth mentorship, and public leadership, Senator Wimberly has dedicated his career to advancing educational opportunity, community empowerment, and equitable outcomes for underserved communities throughout New Jersey.
