Early Voting Begins In NJ On Oct. 25

New Jersey voters can cast their ballots early from Oct. 25 to Nov. 2 in a high-stakes election for governor, state Legislature, and key local races.

New Jersey voters can begin casting their ballots early on Oct. 25 in a pivotal election that will shape the state’s political future.

Early voting will run through Nov. 2. Polls will be open from Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early polling locations can be found on the state’s website.

Voters will choose a new governor and decide control of the state Legislature, where Democrats are defending their majority against Republican challengers eager to make inroads after years in the minority.

Local races will also take center stage, with contests for county commissioners, school boards, and city councils—including a closely watched mayoral race in Jersey City.
