Broadway’s HELL’S KITCHEN Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Broadway’s New York musical celebrated a milestone-filled inaugural year with the icon Empire State Building lighting up in the signature blue and yellow colors of HELL’S KITCHEN and a VIP-attended performance on Wednesday, April 9, at the Shubert Theatre.

Throughout HELL’S KITCHEN’s first year on Broadway, the new musical celebrated several landmark achievements, including:

  • 2025 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album
  • Two Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical and Best Featured Actress in a Musical
  • Drama League Award for Outstanding Production of a Musical
  • Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical
  • Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Performer in a Broadway Musical
  • Three Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical, Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical and Outstanding Projection and Video Design
  • Through an ongoing partnership with Alicia Keys co-founded organization Keep A Child Alive (KCA), Hell’s Kitchen has donated $1,263,382 to date to provide aid for children across the globe. 
  • “Kaleidoscope,” an original new song written for Hell’s Kitchen, became the anthem of the 2024 U.S. Open Tournament in a multi-layered collaboration with USTA and ESPN.
  • Alicia Keys’ “No One” was certified Diamond with over 10 million U.S. sales and streams
  • Alicia Keys and Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” was certified Diamond with over 10 million U.S. sales and streams, also celebrating its 15thanniversary since it was released.
