Fatal Stabbing Under Investigation
On May 19, 2025, at approximately 1:57 A.M., the South Plainfield Police Department received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a residence on Tooz Place in South Plainfield. Upon their arrival, authorities located Brandon Andrews-Cruz, 38, of Raritan, NJ, and a 32-year-old female from South Plainfield with stab wounds.
Andrews-Cruz was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the female was transported to the hospital, where she is being treated for her injuries.
