Homicide In New Brunswick, NJ Under Investigation

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at approximately 10:55 P.M., the New Brunswick Police Department received a 911 call reporting that someone was Bleeding profusely on Seamen Street.

Upon their arrival, authorities located Gonzalo Napoleon Quispez-Parades, 23, of New Brunswick, unconscious on the sidewalk with a large laceration to his abdomen. Quispez-Parades was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An initial investigation led by Detective Sean Freeman of the New Brunswick Police Department and Detective Stephanie Redline of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined that Quispez-Parades had been in a fight and sustained severe injuries as a result.

It has been determined that this incident was not a random act of violence, and there is no threat to the public.
