Spotswood Man Charged with Sexual Assault and Other Charges
Detective John Fedak of the Spotswood Police Department and Detective Ryan Kirsh of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office commenced an investigation regarding allegations of sexual assault by Raymond Remus, 45, of Spotswood, upon two juvenile victims.
On August 22, 2024, Remus was arrested without incident and charged with first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, second-degree Sexual Assault, and second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Remus is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending his Pre-Trial Detention hearing results.

As with all criminal defendants, the charges against Remus are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
