New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) Presents Chaka Khan With Special Guest Leela James on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m.

The reigning Queen of funk, soul, and R&B—and ten-time GRAMMY winner—Chaka Khan returns to NJPAC for what’s sure to be a classic concert, featuring such iconic hits as “I Feel for You,” “Through the Fire,” “I’m Every Woman,” “Ain’t Nobody” and others.

Khan was recently honored by the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville along with Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones and Smokey Robinson, with a Rhapsody & Rhythm Award during the seventh annual Celebration of Legends Benefit Concert. R&B singer Bobby Brown presented her with the award.

“This award goes to not just myself, but so many women who went before me. Some were my contemporaries, others were not, from Billie Holiday to Whitney Houston,” Khan said. “This award goes to them, my sisters on this planet and in this field.”

Tickets for the concert go on sale on June 25 on NJPAC.org.
