What is happening is that we are experiencing a major insecurity in that we are not trusting ourselves, and our abilities and have a general lack of confidence.
During this time of COVID-19 these uncertain times have left us afraid for our health, our finances, and our futures. So it is important that we rebuild our confidence and believe in ourselves through our daily accomplishments and re-establishment of our routines.
We can stay on top of our financial matters by forming contingency plans on how we stay afloat day by day. Even if we do not have ultimate answers at least we are exercising control over our situation by tackling it head on.
Though we do not have guaranteed invincibility against the virus, we can certainly enhance our safety by social distancing, self quarantining when needed, proper hygiene, and staying in place.
We can rebuild our self-esteem and confidence by being on top of the COVID-19 information being released on the net, radio and TV. But at the same time we should not overdose on this information. Moderation is the key.
And as always when in doubt, when you feel powerless and insecure, never forget that by prayer and faith you have a bottomless well of courage you can dip into to stay strong and confident. Never forget we have nothing to fear but fear itself.
