Rutgers women’s basketball Class of 2020 graduate Jordan Wallace has signed a professional contract with Las Escaramuzas of the Mexican Women’s Professional Basketball League.

Wallace continues a long tradition of Scarlet Knights playing professionally outside of the United States, becoming the 41st former Rutgers play to ink a deal.

The Somerdale, New Jersey native is four games into her professional career, and has already produced some eye-opening numbers. In her third pro game, Wallace recorded a 20-20 double-double with 21 points and 20 rebounds, and followed it up with a 35-point performance in Game 4.

Wallace played 103 games in the Scarlet Knights uniform with 363 points and 303 rebounds. She scored 7.6 points per game with 5.3 rebounds per contest while starting all 31 games during her senior year. She was a leader and contributor to the 2019-20 squad that would have seen Rutgers qualify for the NCAA Tournament if not for the cancellation of the postseason.
