Montclair Mayor Sean M. Spiller hosted for a virtual town hall with Dr. Chris T. Pernell, Chief Strategic Integration and Health Equity Officer at University Hospital, for a conversation on racial equity in healthcare and building trust in the COVID-19 vaccine among communities of color.
Pernell has been an advocate for health equity and justice. She has spoken and written extensively on addressing racial disparities in healthcare including having appeared on CNN, MSNBC and more.
